Ranking the Coasters I Rode at Worlds of Fun
My latest trip to Worlds of Fun was a success! Not only did I add a new coaster credit to my list, but I also got to experience some of the park’s best rides. Here’s how I’d rank the five coasters I rode during the trip.
1. Prowler ⭐
Without a doubt, Prowler takes the top spot. This wooden coaster is packed with speed, twists, and an incredible amount of fun. It delivers an exciting ride from start to finish and proves that a great wooden coaster can easily compete with steel. If you’re visiting Worlds of Fun, this one is an absolute must-ride.
2. Mamba
Mamba may not deliver the same legendary airtime it once did thanks to the trims, but it’s still an intense hyper coaster. The first drop is fantastic, the speed is impressive, and it’s still one of the signature rides in the park. Even with less airtime than in years past, it’s easy to see why so many coaster fans love it.
3. Patriot
As a fan of B&M inverted coasters, Patriot didn’t disappoint. It’s smooth, comfortable, and delivers that classic flying sensation through its loops and turns. While it may not be the most intense invert out there, it’s a solid ride that’s worth riding every visit.
4. Spinning Dragons
Spinning Dragons holds a special place on this list because it became my 25th coaster credit! While the ride itself is a fun family spinning coaster, the milestone made it much more memorable. Every coaster enthusiast remembers certain credit milestones, and this is one I’ll always look back on.
5. Timber Wolf
Unfortunately, Timber Wolf lands at the bottom of my rankings. It definitely has history and charm, but on my ride it felt pretty rough. I still appreciate classic wooden coasters, but this one wasn’t nearly as enjoyable as Prowler.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I had an amazing day at Worlds of Fun. From finally riding Spinning Dragons for my 25th coaster credit to getting another unforgettable ride on Prowler, the trip was full of great memories. Every park has rides that stand out for different reasons, and this visit reminded me why Worlds of Fun continues to be a fun destination for coaster enthusiasts.
How would you rank these five coasters? Let me know—I always love hearing other coaster fans’ opinions!
